Mumbai-based performance nutrition brand Neulife Nutrition has raised $1 million in a seed round led by Subhkam Ventures and Singularity Ventures. The funding will be used to scale Neulife’s proprietary Ketofuel® technology, deepen its R&D infrastructure, and expand into key global markets.

Founded by Samit Gupta, a long-time ketogenic athlete and entrepreneur, Neulife Nutrition is on a mission to redefine the science of protein supplementation. With five patents already under its belt, the company is targeting 15% of India’s premium protein market by 2028, focusing on innovation that bridges fitness, health, and science.

Samit Gupta, Founder and CEO, said, “As a carb-free ketogenic athlete myself, I’ve always struggled with protein supplements that are designed wrong lacking the natural fat sources needed for optimal protein synthesis and energy efficiency. With Neulife, we’ve solved that problem through our patented Ketofuel® MCT technology, creating proteins that deliver true metabolic advantages and superior efficiency.”

Backing this vision, Rishabh Kathotia, Partner at Subhkam Ventures, said, “Neulife is addressing critical gaps in India’s fast-growing performance nutrition market with a science-first approach. Samit and his team bring deep R&D expertise, which convinced us to back their journey toward building a legacy brand in this booming sector.”

Yash Kela, Partner at Singularity Ventures, added, “Neulife’s patented technology and focus on protein efficiency position them uniquely to lead not just in India but internationally. Their combination of science, innovation, and market understanding makes them one of the most exciting nutrition companies emerging from India today.”

As global consumers shift toward functional, high-performance nutrition, Neulife’s technology-driven model aims to establish India as a key player in the $80-billion global supplement market.
