Accor has announced the appointment of Ugur Talayhan as the new General Manager of Fairmont The Palm, Dubai, as the luxury hospitality group continues to strengthen its leadership across the Middle East.
A seasoned hotelier with over 30 years of global experience, Ugur brings a wealth of operational and strategic expertise from leading premium hospitality brands worldwide. Before joining Accor, he was with Rotana Hotels, where he oversaw operations across ten flagship properties, driving excellence in service, profitability, and brand experience.
Recognised for his exemplary leadership, Ugur was also the recipient of Accor’s 2024 Bernache Award, one of the group’s highest honours, celebrating innovation, integrity, and performance.
In his new role, Ugur will lead Fairmont The Palm’s growth and positioning as one of Dubai’s most iconic beachfront destinations, focusing on guest experience, operational excellence, and sustainable luxury. His appointment aligns with Accor’s broader mission to elevate its premium portfolio through dynamic leadership and forward-thinking hospitality strategies.
