YouTube has introduced a new set of AI-powered creative tools and strategic partnerships that aim to boost India’s fast-growing creator ecosystem. Today, YouTube’s community contributes over ₹16,000 crore to India’s GDP and supports 930,000+ jobs. With the latest upgrades, the platform is strengthening its role as a driver of digital learning, entrepreneurship, and economic opportunity.
The new AI features are designed to make content creation simpler, faster, and more accessible. Creators will be able to improve storytelling, edit videos more easily, and manage workflows with greater efficiency. These tools help both emerging and established creators build stronger online identities in a competitive digital landscape.
To expand the impact of these tools, YouTube has also partnered with two major institutions. The first collaboration is with the Indian Institute of Creative Technologies, enabling students to gain real-world exposure to AI-led creative skills. The second partnership is with AIIMS, New Delhi, supporting nurses and healthcare workers with digital learning programmes built on YouTube’s educational ecosystem.
Leaders across these organisations emphasised the importance of AI in shaping India’s future. Gunjan Soni, Managing Director India, YouTube, highlighted that YouTube’s influence is not limited to entertainment. It now fuels livelihoods, learning, and long-term economic growth, supported by responsible AI design.
Dr. Vishwas Deoskar of IIC Technologies noted that India is entering a new era of digital storytelling, and AI will play a key role in shaping that journey. AIIMS Principal Dr. Latha Venkatesan added that digital training will help nurses deliver better patient care across the country.
Supporting the launch, Hon’ble Minister Smt. Annapurna Devi said the initiative aligns with India’s digital mission and empowers women, students, and creators to participate confidently in the online world.
With these steps, YouTube is not only introducing new technology it is building a stronger, more inclusive digital ecosystem. The platform is helping Indian creators and learners move into the future with better tools, better skills, and better opportunities.
