Tata Communications has appointed Ganesh Lakshminarayanan as Managing Director and CEO-Designate, reinforcing its leadership as the company prepares for its next phase of growth in global connectivity, cloud, and digital services.
Lakshminarayanan brings over 30 years of leadership experience across enterprise technology and telecom. Most recently, he served at ServiceNow India & SAARC, where he led market expansion and enterprise adoption of digital and AI-led solutions. Prior to that, at Airtel Business, he played a key role in scaling large-enterprise relationships, driving transformation initiatives, and delivering complex, high-value deals.
According to N. G. Subramaniam, Chairman of Tata Communications, the appointment follows a rigorous selection process and reflects the company’s need for a leader with deep exposure to global businesses, automation, AI, and digital transformation. His experience is expected to complement Tata Communications’ strategy and support the strong growth momentum already underway.
