Pune-based EdTech startup Beep App has secured $850K in a pre-Series A round, taking total funding to $1.5 million. The round saw participation from Knowhere Ventures, Pacific Global Solutions, Lead Angels, and individual investors including Vipul Prakash and Sandeep Johri.
Founded by Saurabh Mangrulkar, Rakhi Pal, and Yogesh Nogia, Beep App focuses on bridging the education-to-employment gap for students in Tier II and III cities. The fresh capital will help scale the platform to 5 million users, onboard 150 colleges, and expand its AI-driven ecosystem including Unibeep (an EventBeep product), BeepHire.ai, and structured professional upskilling tracks.
Currently supporting over 6.5 million students, partnering with 1,500+ colleges and 7,800 hiring companies, the platform aims to accelerate job-readiness through AI-powered career discovery, hiring pipelines, and skill alignment.
Strategically, Beep App is tapping into a massive underserved market where access, guidance, and employer connectivity remain fragmented. AI-led personalisation and hiring intelligence could redefine how students navigate career pathways beyond metro cities.
Overall, this funding signals growing investor confidence in AI-powered employability solutions tailored for India’s next wave of talent.
