World Labs has secured a $200 million strategic investment from Autodesk, marking a major step toward integrating advanced AI world models into mainstream 3D design workflows.

Founded by AI pioneer Fei-Fei Li, World Labs is developing world models including its first product, Marble that aim to simulate and understand real-world environments. The partnership will explore integration across Autodesk’s tools spanning architecture, engineering, manufacturing, and entertainment.

Advised by Daron Green, the collaboration will initially focus on media and entertainment an innovation battleground also targeted by Google DeepMind and Runway. Autodesk’s push into neural CAD and spatial intelligence signals a shift toward AI systems that design with contextual awareness, not just geometry.

World models could unlock immersive prototyping, dynamic scene generation, and intelligent design automation bridging digital and physical creation.

Overall, this partnership positions Autodesk at the forefront of AI-powered spatial computing.
