Amazon has inaugurated one of Asia’s largest corporate campuses in Bengaluru, bringing together 7,000+ employees across ecommerce, payments, technology, operations, and seller services.
The campus was inaugurated by M.B. Patil and reflects India’s expanding role in Amazon’s global innovation engine. As Samir Kumar emphasised, the investment focuses on people, infrastructure, and long-term growth aligned with The Climate Pledge.
Strategically, the move signals confidence in India as a core R&D and operations hub. Large-scale, sustainable campuses are becoming magnets for talent, collaboration, and ecosystem growth.
Overall, this is a long-term infrastructure play: combine sustainability, scale, and talent density to power India’s next wave of tech innovation.
