Audio storytelling platform Pocket FM has announced a strategic partnership with OpenAI to accelerate the creation of AI-powered audio content and scale global storytelling.
Through this collaboration, Pocket FM will integrate OpenAI’s APIs across its creator ecosystem, enabling more than 300,000 creators worldwide to produce high-quality audio series faster and more efficiently. The integration will support various stages of the content pipeline from script development and narration assistance to multilingual localisation helping creators expand their reach across global audiences.
Pocket FM has already built a massive content engine powered by AI. The platform currently hosts over 100,000 AI-native titles and records more than 12 billion monthly listening minutes, reflecting the growing demand for serialized audio entertainment. By embedding advanced AI tools directly into the creation workflow, the company aims to reduce production timelines while increasing the diversity and scale of stories available on the platform.
According to Prateek Dixit, the partnership will strengthen creator capabilities and enable faster production of immersive audio experiences. Oliver J. also highlighted that AI-powered tools will play a key role in expanding storytelling across multiple languages and regions.
The move signals a broader shift in digital entertainment, where AI is becoming a core production partner rather than just a supporting tool. For audio platforms like Pocket FM, AI-driven workflows could unlock entirely new formats of scalable storytelling, empowering creators to reach global audiences while maintaining narrative depth and quality.
