Al Moammar Information Systems Co. (MIS) has secured a 12-month project from HUMAIN to support specialised AI infrastructure and advanced computing capabilities. The project reflects the growing scale of Saudi Arabia’s rapidly expanding artificial intelligence ecosystem, where organisations are investing heavily in high-performance computing and data infrastructure.

The contract is expected to be significantly larger than MIS’s previous projects, with its value projected to exceed 155% of the company’s 2024 annual revenue. This highlights the scale of investment currently being directed toward AI infrastructure in the region, particularly as governments and enterprises work to build the technological backbone required for next-generation AI development.

The deal also builds on an earlier collaboration between the two companies. In December 2025, MIS had already secured another project from HUMAIN, establishing a strategic relationship focused on building the computing environments necessary to support AI research, model training, and large-scale data processing.

With AI systems becoming increasingly complex and resource-intensive, organisations are prioritising specialised computing infrastructure capable of handling advanced workloads, including large language models, data analytics platforms, and enterprise AI applications.

Bottom line: The new contract strengthens MIS’s role in Saudi Arabia’s AI infrastructure development while highlighting the scale of investment being directed toward advanced computing capabilities in the region’s growing AI economy.
