SatLeo Labs raises $2.2M to scale thermal satellite intelligence.

SatLeo Labs is developing a constellation of thermal imaging satellites to deliver real-time, actionable climate intelligence from low Earth orbit. Backed by Unicorn India Ventures, along with Merak Ventures, Java Capital, IIMA Ventures, and investor Manish Gandhi, the startup is positioning itself at the intersection of space tech and climate intelligence.

The company has already developed its TAPAS-1 payload, which is nearing launch readiness. Its technology is being used to support Ahmedabad’s Heat Action Plan, showcasing early real-world applications in urban climate monitoring and heat risk management.
