ADNOC Group has partnered with Gecko Robotics to integrate AI-powered inspection robots across its wells and reservoirs, aiming to enhance operational efficiency and reduce downtime. By combining advanced robotics with 50 years of ADNOC data, the system can predict equipment failures, optimize maintenance schedules, and increase output by up to 5%, demonstrating the transformative potential of AI in energy operations.

Saravan Penubarthi, Chief Technology Officer at AIQ, highlighted the innovation, stating, “This is the first time we’re giving intelligence to robots. Integrating analytics directly with robots is going to deliver much more value to customers and has the potential to transform the industry.”

Jake Loosararian, CEO of Gecko Robotics, added, “The AI race is shifting toward data set creators and those who can leverage information to create meaningful impact on asset performance and productivity. Companies focused solely on algorithms are increasingly seeking partnerships with firms like Gecko that can turn data into actionable intelligence.”

This collaboration underscores ADNOC’s commitment to leveraging next-generation AI and robotics to optimize energy production, improve safety, and drive efficiency across its operations cementing its position at the forefront of the energy sector’s digital transformation.
