OpenAI has reported a threefold surge in AI adoption across India, making it one of the fastest-growing AI markets globally. The country now ranks as ChatGPT’s second-largest user base, driven by its young, tech-forward population and expanding digital ecosystem.
To further strengthen its local presence and collaboration, OpenAI plans to open its first India office in New Delhi, marking a pivotal move in its global expansion strategy. The new hub will focus on innovation partnerships, developer outreach, and AI upskilling across industries.
