Greaves Electric Mobility Names Pranesh Urs as Head of Marketing.

Greaves Electric Mobility has appointed Pranesh Urs as Head of Marketing to strengthen its brand presence and accelerate growth in India’s fast-expanding electric mobility market.

Urs brings over 13 years of experience across technology, mobility and advertising. Before joining Greaves Electric Mobility, he held key marketing roles at Ather Energy, Samsung Electronics, and DDB Mudra Group, where he worked across brand strategy, integrated marketing campaigns and consumer engagement.

In his new role, Urs will lead brand and marketing strategy for Greaves Electric Mobility’s portfolio, including electric vehicle brands Ampere, Ele, and Eltra. He will report to Vikas Singh and focus on building strong consumer connections through integrated marketing initiatives.

The mandate also includes scaling omnichannel campaigns and brand storytelling as the company expands its footprint across India’s electric two- and three-wheeler segments. With EV adoption rising rapidly, Greaves Electric Mobility aims to strengthen brand recall and market penetration through sharper marketing and digital engagement.

The appointment signals the company’s continued investment in brand-led growth as competition intensifies in India’s evolving EV ecosystem.
