Axel Springer SE has agreed to acquire The Telegraph Media Group in a £575 million all-cash deal, strengthening its global news and digital media footprint. The acquisition includes flagship publications The Daily Telegraph and The Sunday Telegraph, marking one of Europe’s most significant media transactions in recent years.
The deal reportedly outpaced competing bids from Daily Mail and General Trust, signalling strong strategic interest in premium journalism assets with global influence.
