HDFC ERGO General Insurance names Parthanil Ghosh as Managing Director and CEO.

Parthanil Ghosh, a veteran with more than 30 years of experience in the insurance industry, has been appointed Managing Director and CEO of HDFC ERGO General Insurance. The appointment will take effect on April 16, 2026, subject to regulatory approvals, and he will succeed Anuj Tyagi.

Ghosh joined HDFC ERGO in 2016 and has since played a crucial role in expanding the company’s retail and commercial insurance businesses. Over the years, he has contributed to strengthening distribution networks, improving product offerings, and driving growth across multiple segments of the general insurance market.
