At the GTC conference in San Jose, Jensen Huang outlined an ambitious vision for NVIDIA, suggesting that surging demand for its next-generation AI chips could push revenues toward $1 trillion by 2027.

The growth is expected to be driven by strong demand for NVIDIA’s Blackwell and Vera Rubin AI chips, particularly from hyperscalers such as Meta, Microsoft, and Amazon. These companies are rapidly expanding their AI infrastructure to support large-scale models, cloud services, and enterprise AI applications.

NVIDIA also highlighted key partnerships with global brands including Hyundai Motor Company, Kia, Lyft, Uber, Adobe, and T-Mobile, signalling the expanding role of AI across industries from automotive and mobility to creative tools and telecommunications.

A major theme from Huang’s keynote was the rise of AI agents and data centre platforms as the next computing paradigm. Unlike traditional software, AI agents can autonomously perform tasks, requiring significantly more compute power, advanced chips, and scalable infrastructure all areas where NVIDIA is heavily invested.

This shift is driving unprecedented demand for high-performance GPUs and AI systems, positioning NVIDIA at the centre of the global AI transformation. As enterprises increasingly adopt AI-driven workflows, the need for powerful computing platforms is expected to grow exponentially.

Bottom line: If current trends continue, NVIDIA’s leadership in AI hardware and infrastructure could position it at the forefront of a trillion-dollar revenue opportunity, powered by the global race to build and scale AI systems.
