The UAE Cyber Security Council, alongside Cisco and Open Innovation AI, has launched a national AI Test & Validation Lab as the country accelerates large-scale AI adoption across critical sectors.
The lab is designed to evaluate AI models and autonomous agents for security, safety, and trustworthiness, helping organisations identify vulnerabilities before deployment. Its capabilities include detecting jailbreak attempts, prompt injection attacks, privacy risks, and other emerging AI threats.
Built to support tens of thousands of AI agent assessments annually, the initiative targets sectors including government, healthcare, telecom, energy, and finance, where secure AI implementation is increasingly mission-critical.
The move reflects the UAE’s broader ambition to position itself as a global leader in responsible AI governance, cybersecurity, and trusted digital infrastructure. As AI adoption scales, validation and safety testing are becoming essential for enterprise and government trust in AI systems.
Bottom line: The UAE’s AI Test Lab signals a major step toward building a globally trusted ecosystem for secure, scalable, and responsible AI deployment.
