Digital Dubai has introduced an AI Integration Matrix Framework to unify AI adoption across government entities, shifting from fragmented pilots to a fully interoperable ecosystem.
Led by Abdullah bin Kenaid Al Falasi, and aligned with the vision of Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the framework establishes a strong foundation for data governance, ethical AI, and cross-entity coordination.
The system supports advanced use cases including AI agents and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) across public services and operations. Already powering 100+ deployments, it aims to reduce duplication, improve efficiency, and enable seamless integration of AI across departments.
This initiative reflects a broader shift in public sector innovation, where governments are moving beyond experimentation to structured, scalable AI implementation frameworks. Governments are evolving toward connected, AI-driven ecosystems with strong governance and interoperability.
Bottom line: Digital Dubai’s framework signals a new phase where AI becomes a coordinated, execution-focused layer powering smarter, more efficient public services.
